Cinema Taco is the Downtown Mall’s only tacqueria, featuring authentic Mexican and South American food. Started in November of 2009, Cinema Taco was established as concessions for the newly renovated music venue in the historic Jefferson Theater.  Now in its second year, Cinema Taco has developed a loyal fan base in its own right.  Downtown workers stop by for lunch several times a week.  Music lovers fuel up before a night of dancing.  Regulars argue over which is the best empanada.

In warmer months, we offer a patio for outdoor dining and evening hours regardless of venue activity.

What’s in there?

Beef: Flank steak rubbed with spices and braised with guajillo peppers. Tender, juicy, spicy.
Veggies: Zucchini, carrots, onions and corn lightly seasoned and sautéed.
Chicken: Slow roasted in its own juices with herbs.
Pork: Smoked and and then slow cooked in a citrus broth.

Salsa Roja: Mild tomato salsa
Salsa Verde: Tomatillos with jalapenos
Salsa Amarilla: SPICY! Mango, pineapple and habanero.
Pico de Gallo: Tomatoes, peppers, cilantro, lime.
